Fairground beckons

Melbourne Art Book Fair

in the Great Hall
National Gallery of Victoria
Friday 17th – Sunday 19th March, 2017

Sending cat videos and other morsels to your parents’ new email address only to discover that you’ve actually been sending them to someone else with a similar email address does not for great pre-fair confidence make [insert face palm]. Elaine and Peter at gmail might not be my parents, but Peter and Elaine [insert surname] at gmail are. And so with this blunder under my belt, I am double checking everything as I edition and sign the last of the zines and artists’ books, compile lists, and pack remaining stock with Louise. ‘Measure twice; cut once,’ a motto to work by, because ‘yours sincerely Peter K.’ does not hanker for another cats-are-funny film. Neither does he wish, it seems, to coo over Cockney cats, nor see the new work we have made, on #theworkingtable.

But you might. And so you shall. To Friday’s Melbourne Art Book Fair at the NGV, we are taking with us,

Prattle, scoop, trembling: a flutter Australian birds

(To those of you who preordered an edition, we have your copies, and any additional prints, wrapped and ready for you to collect from our stall. We can't wait to share this with you. And thank-you once again for all of your support.)
